Today's John Neff Challenge is...a VW Transporter Double Cab Syncro aka a Doka. I saw this proper example in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan the month before I moved to California. Only a few hundred of these were brought to the USA, making it a very rare sight (even rarer: one that isn't entirely beat to shreds). They now go for crazy money on the secondary market. I'm not sure what the purpose of the box in the bed is for (very clean from all angles, with no real clue as to its purpose...perhaps the coolest electrician in Michigan?). Likely a 1990 or so.
