I had to run up to Marin at lunch to grab something we forgot at the bonfire last night. On the way back I take a sidestreet and see...a Magirus Deutz fire truck and a lovely little Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The Deutz is in full German fire truck livery. These originally came with air-cooled V-6 diesels. I like how the design keeps all the functional bits of fire fighting closed away, like a nicely put away set of dishes behind kitchen cabinets. My mind is still blown from this corner of goodness.
